Mach’s made it a mission to become organic in 2000, a revolutionary step in a valley that was mostly conventional dairy farms at the time. It was a step we knew we had to take, to set an example in our community. Being organic represents so many different things on many different levels: sustainable farming and agricultural practices; a healthy lifestyle; dedication to and responsibility for the environment – we wanted to embrace all of that. There is an innate “joy” in knowing you live and breathe organically – knowing that what you market has a lighter impact on the environment and supports people who are doing something good.
